The Gift of Free Will—and the Responsibility to Care for Our Health
God, in His infinite wisdom, gave us one of the most powerful gifts imaginable: free will. The ability to choose. To think, to act, to create.
But with that freedom comes responsibility—especially when it comes to how we care for our bodies.
Let’s be real:
We can’t underfeed ourselves and overwork our bodies…
We can’t consistently eat toxic, processed food and expect our systems to keep showing up for us day after day…
We can’t pour from an empty cup, physically or spiritually.
Yet so many of us live like our bodies are machines. Like they’ll just keep going—regardless of how we treat them.
But your body is not a machine.
It is a sacred vessel, divinely designed, and it responds to the choices we make—every single day.
Your Free Will Is Always at Work—Even in the Kitchen
Every time you open the fridge, you’re using your free will.
Every time you skip meals, binge sugar, avoid rest, or suppress emotions, you’re exercising choice.
And every time you choose real food, nourishing movement, rest, stillness, healing, and hydration—you’re choosing to honor the vessel God gave you.
We can’t pray for healing and then keep doing what’s breaking us.
We can’t beg for energy and vitality while feeding our bodies things that rob us of life.
Faith without aligned action? It’s not enough.
Free will without wisdom? It’s dangerous.
Health Is Not an Accident—It’s a Series of Aligned Choices
You were given a body.
You were given freedom.
But your health is not guaranteed.
It’s a reflection of your daily habits, your mindset, your food, your thoughts, and the way you steward the body you’ve been given.
So today, I’m inviting you to check in:
• Are your choices aligned with the life you say you want?
• Are you treating your body like a burden—or like a blessing?
• Are you living like you have free will—or like you’ve forgotten you do?
A Loving Wake-Up Call
You’re not being punished. You’re not broken.
But you are being invited into greater responsibility and greater freedom.
Because health isn’t about perfection. It’s about ownership.
It’s about realizing: you have the power to choose—and your body is listening.
Let’s use our free will wisely.
Let’s nourish the body God gave us.
Let’s stop waiting for a wake-up call and start living in alignment.
